Team Profile

Jiuxi (Tom) Wang is a senior at La Jolla Country Day School. He joined this club out of his desire to protect the environment, as he hopes to bring a positive change to San Diego. In his free time, Tom plays the piano, watches sports, and enjoys spending time with his friends.

David Lai is a junior at The Bishop’s School. His goal for the Non-Toxic San Diego Club is to spread awareness to everyone about toxic substances and to participate in numerous different projects that aim to remove poisonous substances from the environment. When he has free time, David does Speech and Debate, participates in MUN, and plays soccer.

Renxiao(Dale) Deng is a senior at Canyon Crest Academy. He is heavily involved with biotechnology related clubs such as iGEM_CCA and the medical club. From his research at iGEM, Dale learned about the delicacy of the environment and thus choses to join Non Toxic San Diego To dedicate more time into environment specific projects.

Jason Wang is a senior at Canyon Crest Academy. He believes that the environment is sacred and should be properly protected by those living in it. He hopes that he can do his best to prevent the worsening of the environment and work towards creating a better environment for those around him.

Jenna Xu is a sophomore at Del Norte High School. She enjoys playing piano and taking walks with her dog. By joining Non-Toxic San Diego, she hopes that she can spread awareness about issues in our local environment.

Jiuyu (Jerry) Zhang is a senior at La Jolla Country Day School. He joined the club because he wants to help San Diego become even cleaner than it is right now. Jerry is a huge swiftie and attends Taylor Swift concerts in his free time.

Alex Zhang is a senior at Canyon Crest Academy. He joined this club to help contribute to the environment and meet new people. In his free time, he enjoys talking with friends, playing video games, and hiking.

Anlin Li is a junior at Canyon Crest Academy. By joining Non-Toxic San Diego, she hopes to improve the environment for those around her. In her free time, she enjoys reading and drawing.

Jiuyuan (Jerry) Wang is a senior at Cathedral Catholic High School. By joining this club, he hopes that he can do his part in helping the environment and making California a better and cleaner place. Jerry does Track & Field and plays video games in his free time.

Zichen (Sarah) Xiang is a sophomore at the Eleanor Roosevelt School. She joined this club out of her interest in biology and environmental science, as she hopes to identify environmental problems and spread awareness to the public. In her free time, Sarah enjoys playing golf.
